Welcome Back ShrimpFest 2019

Brinnon Parks and Recreation along with Emerald Towns Alliance are pleased to announce ShrimpFest will be back at Yelvik’s General Store field in 2019. Community members of Brinnon have rallied around the event providing the support needed to move forward with ShrimpFest 2019.  ShrimpFest will continue to provide live entertainment, food vendors, kid zone, specialty vendors, hood canal spotted shrimp for sale, and much, much more.

Proceeds generated by this event will continue to go back into the community supporting non-profits and Brinnon Parks and Recreation. Past recipients through the years include the Food Bank, Parents Teachers Association, college scholarships for local high school students, Brinnon School programs, Boy & Girls Scouts, Center Valley Animal Rescue, Brinnon and Quilcene Community Centers, and computer lab at the Brinnon Community Center.

The official kick-off will be on December 1st with letters to prospective sponsors and applications going out to vendors on January 1st. Numerous volunteers are still needed.
